The Lace Market Theatre is an amatuer theatre staffed and run entirely by members in their free time. You are welcome to join the theatre and take part in its activities, either on stage, backstage, or further behind the scenes.
If you are interested in joining why not pop down to the theatre any weekday evening when we don't have a show on (excluding August)? There's always a Duty Officer about who can show you around and answer any questions you may have.
If you're visiting the theatre to see a show and are interested in getting involved do join us for a drink afterwards in the bar and we'll be happy to give a tour then as well. New members are always welcome and there are plenty of ways to get involved - experience is certainly not necessary! When you arrive at the theatre, please go upstairs to the bar area as this is always the best place to find the Duty Officer!
From time to time we hold dedicated Open Evenings where we will meet you in the bar before showing you around the theatre. Dates for future open evenings can be found here.
